​Health care-related technology is always changing and evolving. Fallbrook Medical Center is glad to present our new telehealth service, also known as telemedicine or E-health, which expands access to care and improves the quality of life of our patients.

What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is the delivery of healthcare services between a provider and patient who are physically distant from each other at the time of the service. Telehealth services can be delivered through different technologies, including streaming services, the internet, apps, video conferencing, and wireless and landline communications systems.

This technology makes it easier for patients who have difficulty traveling to receive health care. It can offer those living in remote or rural areas access to a specialist not otherwise available. It also has the benefit of potentially saving all patients time when compared to an in-person appointment.
